About Me
The author received his PhD degree in Engineering from the Graduate School of Systems and Information Engineering, University of Tsukuba, Japan in 2013. Since 2011, he has been a Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) in the field of computational electromagnetic. His current research interests include the modeling, design, and development of numerical electromagnetic algorithms, metamaterials, plasmonic materials, and optical waveguides. In particular, he focuses on the use of the FDTD techniques. He is also actively involved in the GPU parallel computation and photorealistic renderings of structural colors such as Morpho butterfly.
